Where do you buy gas and why

I go wherever is closest. I have a 5 cent off card for a station but I only go there if im going by there anyway. I used to always go there but then i did the math, 5 cents a gallon, even at 36 gallons, which it never is anyway, is only 1.80$ You spend more money in gas trying to go to your special station to get your 5 cents off than you save most of the time, its not worth it unless your diving past it anyway.

I usually go to the shell station nearby, i've heard they're better quality gas, and i've have bad experiences with the gas stations near my house (water getting in their gas, turns out the truck driver forgets to put the lid back on the tank. lol) gas is about 3.39 here, I'm not even gonna complain after seeing what some of y'all pay.

I use Kroger, 3-10 cents off per gallon, and there are 2 on my daily drive to and from the base.

Ya, I guess the NEX is different than AAFES. I think it's just an AAFES thing. Army/Air Force. Every now and then they do a .20 off a gall. deal. You should see the lines then.

Shell is the same price as the non name brand gas, usually 5 to 7 cents less a gallon less than BP. Besides, Shell is right by my house and the BP station charges me $1.00 every time I use my credit or debit card. I would still buy BP except for the $1 charge. ( I really need to go ask them what the heck is with the $1 charge).

I use a little place down from my house, unless I absolutely have to fill up somewhere else. Can't remember the name of it, but it's part of the Super 1 food mart behind it. The reason I use it, it has NO ethanol...and I get better mileage from it.

Curious....Anyone ever set eyes on a Kroger Gas Tanker?
Rumor is that they use the fuel that was rejected from name brand stations either from being too old, contamination or excessive moisture.
I'm just curious.
We don't have Kroger's in here in Danxville.
