Default Wheel interchangability

I'm looking for a set of take off factory F150 wheels to use on my 2014. I'm looking for something cheap to put a more aggressive off road tire on and use during hunting season then go back to the AT's for the rest of the year. I currently have 265/70/18's and am not interested in anything much larger. A 275/70/18 would be as big as I'd want to go, or something very similar on a 17" wheel.

i haven't spent a lot of time looking, but there is an ad in the paper for a set off 2008 truck. The ad just says 6 lug and I don't know if they are 17 or 18" wheels. I don't think it would matter and if anything 17's might be preferable. Would these fit my 2014? If not what years should I be looking at. Thought I'd make sure before I call for more info.

The F150 from 2004 to current year should all take 6X135 wheels. The thread pitch on the studs is different on 2015-current but the wheels are the same.

I called about the 2008 wheels and they aren't what I'm looking for, but it is good to know for sure that most any take off wheel from 2004 and up will work. Not something I'm in a hurry to do. Just going to be patient and wait on a great deal.

The size if the wheel has nothing to do with speedometer. I can buy TIRES in 16,17,18, and 20" sizes that will be the same overall diameter (or close enough to not matter) so the speedometer is still calibrated.

You certainly are correct, in 2004 Ford introduced a new F150 pick up truck design. However, they still had 2003 models to be sold, so they badged the older models as the 2004 F150 Heritage and the 7X150 were mainly for commercial use with the heavy-duty payload. Not many out there thou.
