Question Wheel Care.....?

I have just spent the better part of my day looking for things to protect my new polished aluminum wheels from dirt, brake dust, and salt applications (i am in southen indiana, so they do that maybe 8 times a winter). I have found several products but it seems no one has had first hand knowledge about any of them......I found somthing called "Protecaclear" it seems to be the best route.....any of you guys know of anything better or even different....

I would use a synthetic wax like NXT 2.0. I would clean them really well with something like Mother's Billet and Aluminum Polish and then apply a few coats of NXT. You will have to upkeep them through the winter. I would say 3 times over the course of the winter would be ample. Space them out over the course of a month or two.

Any auto parts store usually, It's by Meguiars. Autozone, Wall Mart, Target, Oriellys, ect. Very common sythetic wax and it is very good. It is usually used for the paint, but it is useful in situations like yours.
