Default What's it Worth?

I am considering selling my truck to join the diesel community but I am not real sure what I should ask for it. I am only the 2nd owner of this truck.

The truck is a 1997 Ford F-150 with the 4.6 liter v-8. The truck has 4 wheel drive, power driver seat, power mirrors, power windows, and is bone stock except for Flowmaster exhaust. The truck has been my baby for the last 5 years and has been maintained to perfection. It currently has 99,000 miles on it. Within the last 6 months I have changed the transmission fluid, spark plugs, plug wires, rear end fluid, and of course the general maintenance.

The only thing that is wrong with it that I can think of is that the a/c does not work and the passenger side plastic on the door has a crack by the speaker.

I am sure I am missing some things but let me know what you guys think.

So I just looked it up on kbb.com and with the a/c out you are probably looking at 5 grand for the truck. Nice looking truck by the way, good luck with your sale. Too bad I don't need another truck b/c your's is clean. What's wrong with the a/c?

Good luck with the sale and hope it goes to somone who will treat it as well as you did!

Thanks I appreciate that. I know the a/c is leaking somewhere but I cant find it for the life of me. It still blows air and it sounds like the compressor kicks on but its just not cold.

I know, its amazing when you maintain something how great they drive. I test drove a 2006 duramax with low miles and I honestly wouldnt have traded my truck for the duramax straight up. The duramax drove awful!
