Default What would you do?

Finally got the funds to upgrade/modify my truck. I am at a crossroads on my wheels. I like my wheels but am considering upgrading to a new black or black/chrome wheel. Want your opinions if I should upgrade or keep the current wheels and spend some money on other things and maybe upgrade later.

...

Thinking about these as a possibly or something of this style.

If you have some money in your rainy day fund, your finances are okay, go for it. Those rims aren't exactly my cup of tea, but if you like them then go get it done.

My thoughts too....if it's not paid off the smart money goes against the loan.

Larger tires on the stock wheels and a leveling kit will make the truck look a lot different.

^^ I know it's not the most "fun" answer, but it's a wise one. I've struggled making similar decisions in the past (perhaps we all have).

If, however, you're all set in the financial dept. - I like a new wheel/tire combo approach. I'm not too keen on the wheels you've chosen, but I agree they are a modest improvement over the current setup. IMHO, because your truck is black with chrome accents, I think these (Fuel Hostage) would look pretty sweet with some 275/65/20 or 285/65/20 tires.

What's your Overall goal with the truck? Do you have a budget in mind?

I am pretty set in the payment dept. this is all extra money. I do like the Fuel wheel better and after looking at the other wheel I am def going the full black direction when I change. But I think I am going to do other stuff first so I don't jump in a wheel til I am more certain. But fuels lineup is probably where I will end up after looking at them. Thank you.

I don't live in an area where I need a true off-road other then snow so my overall goal is kinda a tougher street feel for lack of a better description. I am leaning toward all black exterior or all black with just hints of chrome. For example bumpers, runners, grill trim, handles.

I have my K&N getting to me Friday and that's where I am going to start. Not sure exhaust direction I am going cause I don't want droning because I won't have wheel noise wither since I don't need a "meaty" tire.

Money is not an issue so my budget is based on sleeping in bed with wife instead of in the car. And I always research for deals.
