so In the process of moving my 10" from my regular cab chevy to the supercab f150. Now I got the ruff design for my underseat sub box but had a few questions...

1. should I put the speaker up against the seat or the floor?

2. should I have space between the speaker grill and seat/floor?

 

against the floor, the seat muffles the sound
and yes the subs need space between the grill and floor
