Default What Tires Will Fit?

Just recently bought a 2016 F150 XLT 2WD so I'm new to these trucks. If i put a 2.5" leveling kit on it whats the biggest A/T or M/T tire i can fit on my stock 20" wheels with or without wheel spacers.

Thanks!

285/65/20 ... 295/60/20... 305/55/20. somewhere in that range ... may require some trimming. 33/12.50/20 will fit no problems.

Wouldn't the 33x12.50's look funny with the stock wheels being 8.5 inches wide?

I like the look of a 1.5" spacer on the stock wheels.

With a 1.5" spacer, stock wheels, I'm going to be running 285/60r20.

I think if you go wider(305/55) with spacers you may get into trimming issues (probably minor though). Also, the MINIMUM wheel width for a 305 tire is 8.5"(some manufactures even say 9"), and I didn't want to get into wear issues (or to much of a side buldge) so I chose the 285/60 because the recommended width for those tires is 8.5"(measured wheel width). I believe the recommended width for 305 tires are probably 10" if you check most manufacturer measured wheel width for 305 tires(Toyo recommends 9.5” for their 305/55r20 tires).

If you did a 295/60r20, those also have a recommended wheel width of 8.5". Those you can fit without a spacer, but if you do a spacer you probably have to trim.
