What part of the harness is this??
I've got a 2011 Supercab XLT. I've added a wireless back up camera and have mounted the monitor in the space where the factory brake controller is located (has a small cubby there instead). When removing the panel to remove the cubby and mount my monitor I discovered a small female harness plug. It was "plugged" into the round coin holder.
What does this connect too? More importantly, is it something I can tap into to provide power to my monitor (don't want to use the cig adaptor)?
It was plugged into the back of the coin holder to the left of the radio.

The wiring harness is the same for most F150s and for options not selected the factory workers tuck away unneeded wiring. If you are not sure what you are doing I suggest going to a reputable stereo installer or dealership. Seen too many people blow fuses and the like when tinkering the wires.

All you need is a switch.
