Default What is this part called?

I’m trying to track down a slight clunk in the rear. More prominent with a little weight in the back. Checked springs, shocks, etc. Did have a little parking brake cable rattle and then this? Looks adjustable and when I grab, twist a little it sounds very similar to the clunk/rattle I’m hearing. Some sort of bump stop, but looks like it’s adjustable? Sorry, fairly clueless on vehicles.

That does look aftermarket, the parts places show a steel encased rubber snubber that bolts to the hanger at the top of the steel cup. Nothing wraps around it like you've got there. The 4x4 version has a taller cup, but otherwise looks the same as the 4x2 snubber.

Honestly no clue. If it was that snubber you mentioned it’s not installed over or really near the leaf spring. And it’s not rubber? I don’t know wtf it does.

Thanks John day! A quick search doesn’t result in finding much like this one. Do you know much about these? It looks like it is supposed to be adjustable and if so what’s the purpose? Do these wear out (57k but ten years old)? Any added info would be helpful. Thanks

Thanks! I just doused both with some Sea Foam Deep Creep! I’ll see how that does while I dive deeper into research.

No problem at all, I guess there is a tool you need to remove them. I've never had anything to do with those things.
