I believe that the 11th gens have aged extremely well. When I drive them i don't find them dated at all. That was such a huge upgrade over the 10th gen trucks. I remember how much 11th gen's had the competition and consumers talking when it first came out with all it's luxury features. My dad bought the 2nd 04 Lariat sold in Alberta and first of its color combo in Canada..zero issues except the spark plug problem.

Had always been a Chevy guy until I looked for a diesel and got a 99 f350 and loved it. Sold it to get more practical. My dad had just bought a 2013 ecoboost king ranch that I fell in love with so I decided to get a king ranch of my own. I ended up in a 2005 f150 king ranch 4x4. I fell in love with it and haven't looked back so far. I've had it for about a month now

Originally a Dodge guy. My first job was in a Dodge dealer in my hometown. Did pretty much every job there was at that dealer. First new vehicle I bought was a Dodge and mark my words, my last Dodge ever. Everything about the experience was painful. Then when the time came to trade in, I went down the street to the Ford dealer and bought my 2001 Mustang. Great deal, great service. Bought my 2012 XLT then my 2013 Lariat from them. Ford for life now. Just love the quality and level of service.

We bought a VW for our family car and we're really impressed with it. If VW puts alot of attention into their budget brand, I imagine they do a good job in their luxury Audi brand.
I had a chance to sit in an A8L at a car show, man, what an awesome car. Mercedes is about the only other car I'd ever consider.
As far as Asian brands go, I like Subaru for their toughness (just don't forget to replace that timing chain!) and the Hyundai for their looks and interior on their higher end models.

And for those looking at a VW, they are lucky too. Many of Audi's greatest innovations trickle down into the VW cars!!! Not to mention that allows Audi to pull parts out of the Lamborghini warehouse.
I feel like I'm stepping back into the 90's when I drive my mom's 2003 F-150. The difference is night and day between the two trucks. My 2004 Lariat is still more luxurious than many of the newer vehicles out there. As far as looks (mechanical is iffy sometimes), Ford nailed it right on.

Really? We abused our 5.4, never had a single issue in 120k mi
And we really abused it, constantly towing much than you're supposed to up mountains.
What's the kind of issues you're seeing? How many miles have you put on it?
