Yeah, my favorite is the 67 galaxie 2door, only year that offered the 428 from factory.

Yup I'm in the same boat as the other guy, always liked fords. My first car I saved up a couple years from and from working an bought when I was 16, 65 mustang coupe, completely restored it/ added lots of goodies. But I had to to cowl, all inner fenders, complete floors, quarters, dash, lots of sheet metal work haha. Got rusted up pretty good in ak, but here's a pic of when I first bought it and how it sits today ( bought when I lived in ak, now live in tx). Also I did everything on this car when I was 16, just self taught, no one has laid a hand on this car except me, including paint. Did this back when I was 16 and my skills have improved immensely since then but a great starting point. Also built a gauge pod into the defroster for a stock clean look, and built my first steerinf wheel. Used oak for the wheel an it came out great, its a stock size wheel so ill probably be making a smaller 14 or 15" wheel here soon, but did tons of little stuff throughout the car too much to list.Took about a year an a half to do during school but like I butt welded all the floors in an ground flush so they'd appear original, I'm a stickler when It comes to all this stuff an it's the right way or no way.

Also just some quick specs, late model 5.0 roller, edelbrock performer rpm cam and intake, Holley 600, 3.80 gears, trac loc, electronic ignition, tri y's, c4 with valve body swap, lowered 2" front and rear, 600lb springs up front, 4 pistons calipers, slotted rotors, braided lines, full frame connectors, all the goodies. Fun little car

How I brought her home

And almos after, doing some test an tune in the driveway

The motor that's in her

And how she sits today

I absolutely enjoy and be in awe of the talent and work one puts into restoring a vehicle. It is amazing. Just like people who mod their trucks. So many on this here forum have done an excellent job.

Road trip!!!! You pay for gas, I'll pay for snacks. Not sure which one will be more expensive (I eat a lot!)

Everybody tends to gravitate towards older mustangs, but they forget about the other nice cars Ford has made over the years!

It's incredible. I would never have the patience or skill to do this... It's unfortunate cause I love these cars, I was just never exposed to this earlier in life. I know people my age who have already built several cars yet I haven't done a single oil change myself. I guess everybody is in a different walk and speed of life.

Love the color! I almost picked one up in that same exact color combo and year model. I had just sold my Mustang and had the cash from the sale in my pocket. Was driving home and it was sitting in a parking lot with a for sale sign. To this day, I'm not sure why it's not sitting in my drive way. Then I remember I have a baby daughter coming in 8 days. lol
