What is a leveling kit

Like Dewman said...The rear is higher to make the ride level more or less when it loaded up...these trucks were made for the working man and r designed for hauling. With the leveling kit and the bed loaded the front will be pointed upwards! It's not for better mpg and wind resistance..as some tend to think.
200 shipped from WWW.autoanything.com and were pretty easy to install. No cutting at all. Took me about an hour and a half and I am only relatively mechanical and don't have a lot of tools. They have regular sales or can even ask when u call. Don't pay full price and they price match if u find it cheaper. Great site.

Take a look at the link that Jerry posted it might give you a better idea. I got them because I tow a boat and snowmobiles and I also haul my own wood pellets a ton at a time and also haul bark mulch in the spring. They give a very stable ride and the truck doesn't look stupid with the nose pointed at the sky.
(I've got a pic in the "garage" link in my sig of one bag.)
And btw....the Air Lift people are awesome!
