Default What kind of wax product to use

Hi. I have a 2013 stx and it's the Sterling gray metallic color and I'm not sure what would be best. I have a buffer.

Cant go wrong with McGuire gold glass. Wont need the buffer though. Goes on and comes off nice and leaves water beading quite a while.

About a year ago I used Collinite 845 and this is how it looks today.

You will be hard pressed to find anything that outshines or lasts as long, very inexpensive as well.

Amazon.com: Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845 Combo: Automotive Amazon.com: Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845 Combo: Automotive

zaino bros.

that stuff is absolutely amazing and lasts forever - and easy on/off too. I used that on my red 01 jeep and it looked brand new when I sold it 12 years later.

After reading the instructions and precautions for Collinite and Zaino I'd be afraid to use them.

McGuire's has good products.

I've had good luck with Mother's.

I've heard good things about Griot's.

Collinite is the best wax I've ever used by far. I will never use another wax again. It shines like crazy and lasts forever. After almost a year it still beads like when first applied.

On my F150

Their site nearly shouts not to use it on anything but perfect paint.

What happens if I use it on less than perfect paint?

Do you use 845 straight away or do you use some of their other products first?
