Default What fuel type do you put in your EcoBoost?

I got a 2.7 EcoBoost and I was reading that supreme fuel at the gas station is better in hot temps and better overall. Then I also read it doesn’t matter unless you have “performance” engine.

So,what do you fill your truck up with.?

Depends on the use. Since I do mostly highway, 87 in my 3.5 EB seems to be good, Premium only nets about 1 MPG if that, though it is smoother and has just a wee bit more oomph, but the cost difference isn't worth it unless I am towing. I use Mobil for fuel.

When towing RV, I use 93; otherwise, regular gas

93 in my tuned 3.5 EB, 93 in our 2.0EB (Escape). Can’t feel the difference in the Escape but the truck ( could be all in my mind), seems to have a little more “grunt”!

My 3.7 runs like a dog (and not a greyhound) with 87 in it. I try to alternate tanks with mid grade and premium. This is the first Ford I've had that I can say the performance sucks

87 octane always as I can never seem to get the timing down as to when the tank is dry and when I fill up to tow

In the summer months I tend to use 89, 93 or E30.
