Default what to do next

im not too sure what i should do next on my 06 xl i recently purchased these wheels and some 2 inch drop shackles im thinking about a roush side exit exhaust system, or cold air intake, I have a performance module but did not really see or feel any gains from it.

Default on the contrary

It has been a while since i posted that but i try to check my posts to see if they're responses. Instead of spending money on an exhaust system i would more than likely not benefit from i disconnected the exhaust right before the muffler, made a turn down tip and clamped it into place. It sounds ok... for a v-6, but i did notice a slight loss in low end torque.

71 F1, I feel for you, am all messed up myself trying to make entries. Suggest sending a PM to JON for help in posting PICS. Just above this entry is a blue line User CP, Photos, FAQ, see it. Highlight User CP, the screen will change, look for sending a private message. Go for it.

Did you ever add that CAI? I'd suggest adding one if you haven't done so.

yeah i definately did not notice a difference in power from the module. It is a jet module. as far as the CAI i found another air filter box and cut it apart so that my filter was opened to the air and still sealed from dirt but, The air is coming from the engine bay which i fail to see as being cold. The only way i can see to get good results would be a ram air style intake.

Also, quick question, I have the 4.2l v-6 and get horrible mpg. Even if i keep my foot out of it i can barely manage 14 city. I might as well have stepped it up to the v-8 for those numbers... Anyone else with the 4.2 get bad mileage?
