I can rid the truck of dog hair 100%, its the white residue left over from the dog hammock I'm worried about.

LOL, thats so random. I feel like that would scratch them up pretty good. I can see how they would help pulling hair from carpets though. Ill keep it in mind when I go to clean them this weekend. Have you actually tried a pumice stone? I use a 3 different sized hard bristle brushes and a shop vac to pull the hair up from the carpets.

Had to get a new micro SD card for the dash cam. Turns out the 130 degree heat in the parked truck didn't hurt the camera but fried the card. Back to normal now. I really don't want to be taking the camera in and out of the truck all the time. Gonna leave it in for now and see what happens. If it fails again, I'll start removing it. PITA!
And yes! That guy has the "mans best friend" look all the way!!!!!!!

I haven't, but I have seen Youtube videos where they have used it on cloth seats to remove hair. I know the hair is not your issue, but if it'll help pull out something as stubborn as hair I would imagine it would do the same for that fabric residue

I think I'm starting to have the same issue...everytime I start the truck it says that the SD card needs formatting

Might look into sandisk industrial cards
https://www.google.com/amp/bgr.com/2...peratures/amp/

Edit* also saw them mention an automobile card... maybe it's designed better to stay in the heat of a car than their regular line.

Hmm......
I'm getting ready to install mine.......
Will have to look and see what card was sent with it !

I wonder if parking the truck so the cam is not in direct sunlight would help.......
Or taking it down while not in use.......

But mine has a parking guard feature.......so I would not be able to use that feature.

Thanks, I'll have to try this as well.
Claws and leather seats don't mix very well despite the easy clean up of hair.
