On Christmas hamper delivery duty with the 04, later on we ran to a cleaning job then to take mom to some volunteer work she's doing tonight, then a gas station run. Somewhere in between there, took the 02 to the bank and to hang out with dad for a bit

That looks awesome! Take-offs or did you buy em from a dealer/eBay? And are they a direct fit? I like that design better than the stock ones I have, a bit slippery and also dull looking, especially noticeable on a black truck.

Thanks!!!

They are OEM from a black 2015 larait fx4. I bought them from a buddy at my work.
They are definitely not direct fit but here is a link to my post on the install.

It wasn't bad overall. I ended up keeping my brackets on and making a template, drilling, and cutting new square's in the 15 f150's running boards and using that hardware to mount them.
Turned out really well and I like that there aluminum

Well, it's officially been 2 weeks that I haven't had my truck. I called because they told me it would be ready today. Looks like they sent a cylinder head out to a machine shop. I feel like I'm going to have a whole new engine by the time this thing is done.

If it's not back tomorrow I won't get the truck until Tuesday. That'll be 3 weeks since I dropped it off.

Anyone heard of the cam phaser job taking this long?

Maybe. They said that the phasers and everything were replaced and needed to be. They had it back together and something sounded off. So they took the cat out, that ended up being ok, and now they sent out a cylinder head to a machine shop and are replacing the guides.

I'm interested to hear the whole story.
