Agreed. When we get the wife's the Subaru a couple months ago the first thing I did was remove the stupid dealer license plate surrounds and the sticker on the rear hatch. They also slobbered all the leather interior in Armor All which made for a greasy slippery mess. That pissed me off.

Picked up new motor June 6 for my 1950 F1

Unwrapping Blueprint crate 300hp 302

Getting ready to install

Tonight at theater to watch CARS 3

My wife bought me this truck for my birthday 11 years ago. Made into Tow Mater just before the first CARS movie (also 11 yrs ago). Been this way ever since. 4 years ago took out flathead motor and put in 302 and aod transmission. May, a year ago (about the time I bought my new truck) Mater's engine decided to lock up. It sat until 3 wks ago, when I decided to get it running again. Haven't taken other motor apart yet to see what the problem is. Lots of fun and gets alot of attention. Now maybe I can quit putting the miles on my new truck (20k already). Up until the motor locked up, I drove Mater almost daily, anytime, anywhere.

Went and did some more data logging with the Full Race CAC in place. Huge drop in IAT2 temps. Improved Knock and timing to boot. Logs sent to MPT for review, hopefully we can add some more timing.

Soon I hope to get the upgraded turbos and other goodies on.

The year that movie came out we took our kids and trailer to AZ from WI and decided instead of freeway we would take Route 66....we ran into a guy who built a Lightning McQueen car from a '93 'stang...kids loved it and he even took us all for a ride. He said he was traveling route 66 and every place he stopped he drew crowds and some towns even closed up so they all could come out and get pics.

Default Tree Removal

Put the 2.7 V6 325hp and 375lb of torque to work on some tree pulls...right off the roof. Didn't miss a beat...4 low with ELD engaged!!! Lightning struck the tree down on the lake house.
