What is this cable for?
Took a random look inside the front wheel area driver side today and noticed this dangling. Not sure how long it's been like that. Seems like it could slip off again pretty easily. Haven't noticed any change in how the truck rides.
What does it do?

Definitely vacuum line for your IWE. You've been driving with that hub locked, and loosing vacuum. They're just a friction fitting. Has anyone installed shocks/spacers on your truck lately?

Thanks guys.
New Bilstein front and rear shocks like...2 months ago maybe? I had oil/tires done at the dealer maybe a month ago. I also regularly peek in there and never noticed it though.

Oh well, you know what it is now. Occasionally guys have found those lines off after shocks or spacer install. Pretty sure you looked, but you have the same thing on the left side.

Noticed a humming noise on passenger side on way to work. Thought the worst like I would need a new hub or something. Turns out the cable was the culprit again. All the ice chunks and potholes must have done it at some point.

Steve, how much slack is there for that line? Might not be a bad idea to lengthen it a few inches.
