Took off my front bumper and found this not attached to anything. Does anyone know what it is?

It's hard to tell from the picture. Could it be the 120 volt cord going to your block heater and the end got cut off ? Doesn't really look like it though does it.

Hey bud. 2017 lariat. It’s not the block heater cable. It’s separate. Mystery.

 

question is what's at the other end.

 

It’s factory whatever it is. Traced it as far as I could and can see factory clips and holes.

 

I wonder if the block heater was replaced and this is the old cable?

 

Its the air temp sensor.
