Wet carpeting
I own a 2004 F 150 Supercrew XLT ( Non Heritage ) The past few years when it rains (especially when it is parked out in the rain ) the passenger side floor carpeting ( front seat ) gets wet . I can't find any leaks when i pull the carpet up and use a garden hose .has anyone had this problem before ??
Are the seals around all the windows good? I couldn't find my leak with a hose, but I ended up getting some boat caulk that was black, taping off the paint and running a bead of it over the weatherstripping and it stopped.
Just a suggestion.

Thanks I will check today and see .
The windshield does not need to have been replaced for there to be a problem with the weatherstrip. I would check the weatherstrip near the bottom center of the windshield to make sure it is not worn or cracked. If the seal is bad, the water can, and will find it's way in.

You arnt in a single cab are you? If so check the 3rd break light. I have a screw and mine leaks like crazy when it rains. To the point that I keep a towel in the truck so I can place it on the top of my back seat to soak up all the water that leaks in. I am eventually going to get it replaced with a LED one. Just waiting on the funds, lol.

Thatnbks for the info .I guess i could check the third brake light .Maybe it is running down the B post between the font and rear dooors somehow .yesterday it was in the rain and didn't get any wetter .Of course i had the carpet pulled back from a couple of days ago letting it dry .
this may or may not apply to the f150 but it has been an issue wuith many different vehicles over the years.
Be sure and check the drain tube that clears any water admitted by the cowl vents this may have become plugged with debris. if you run water into the cowl vents and it doest drain out under the truck immediatly, the drain is likely to be blocked.
