Default Warranty?

I picked up my F150 a couple weeks ago and they suckered me into the extended warranty. I would normally say no but it's an 02 with only 22,000 miles on it so I went for it. What kind of mods can I do without voiding the warranty? I'm looking mostly at intakes and exhaust. Not looking to crack open the heads just yet. Thanks in advance.

basically if you put something on your truck they can and will decline warranty. However ignorant warrantys can be it has to be proved that the mod you did is what actually caused the damage. For example if you put 20 inch rims on a vehicle that came from factory with 17 inch rims and your ball joint goes out they are gonna try and get out of it.
Just stand your ground. GM wanted to tell me that they were gona void my drive train warranty due to puting 20 inch rims on my truck... my reply was why are gm trucks sold with 20 inch rims then.

i am sure you are right. i just couldnt remember so i included it anyway..

another piece of advice is for a person to become a customer at a dealership. if a service manager sees that you have been there before and the such then he is more apt to take care of you... way to political i think but that is life i guess.
