Men, u read it correctly lol. I want to pull the trigger on a 06 black f150 short box. 5.4 4x4. It's on the lot for 5000. I got him down to 4000 cash. He wants more but he aint getting it from me....I think 4 is still a little to much. The specifics u ask? Well she looks great no rust, runs great, drives great, no clunking in the tranny.....nata I can't even hear the tensioners...there is no manifold leak...cold start up sounded great...small oil leak under the truck..I can live with that for now. the bad. it's got 200k on it..I'd like to use it as a second car.... mulch runs, hauling lawn mowers, very, very light towing. Any info would be much helpful in my purchase I am hoping the major crap's already been done. I have until tomorrow

Honestly....for 4k...I don't think it's too bad. I've got 191k on my 5.4 and she still runs sweet. If it's just an occasional truck...I'd do it

 

A running F150 4x4 in the shape you describe should fetch more than $4k all day everyday unless there are hidden problems.
