Viper SmartStart
Hey all. I'm a noob. Found out about this place by finding the iPhone app, looks awesome!
I was wondering how much info everyone has about the Viper SmartStart. Now that it supposedly ha GPS, I think it may be worth it (heck LoJack is a 1000 starting)
A few questions:
Have you heard good things? The app on iPhone got 2.5/5 stars. That's pretty poor for a $700 piece of equipment.
Has anyone installed themselves? I have nothing now, so just tryin to explore my options.
If I get a regular Viper alarm installed, is it as easy as buying the module and plugging it in to that? Or is there extra?
I just got a '10 F150 STX. I will never go back to anything else!
How much did u pay, an where did you go? Seems like Best Buy is the most common offerer of the system...
