Default VIN Specific Specifications

I'm trying to find where I can access VIN Specific specs. I've tried searching the forum and also google, but am coming up short. Could someone point me in the right direction?

What year? What exactly are you looking for?

EDIT: https://www.fleet.ford.com/resources...er/VIN2012.pdf This should give you all the info you can get from the VIN itself. Just click on your year (2000-2019) here:https://www.fleet.ford.com/partsandservice/vin-guides/

I’m trying to look at salvage vehicles to upgrade my gauge cluster and most pictures don’t show exactly what cluster is in the vehicle, so I was trying to find a way to look up VIN specific options.

You can check the ford ETIS site. It's undergone some changes and I haven't used it in a while, but last time I did, it was free, you just had to register.

Or you can look up the AS BUILT data and think you can decipher it from there.

There is nothing in the VIN that calls out the instrument cluster.

(phone app link)

For that, you'd need access to Ford's database of build data via ETIS or a dealership or...

And not all clusters are PnP; some require reprogramming to match the vehicle's other systems, and to prevent theft.
