Hey guys, new to the forum! I ordered a 2015 F-150 Platinum back on April 10th. I still have not received the VIN # so that I can track it's progress. Just curious to the other guys out there that have ordered a truck what is the normal wait time to get your VIN?

Did you ask your dealer for the VIN? I got mine right away.

 

I have called several times asking for the VIN and they are telling me that they don't have it yet. He said as the dealer he could log in and see the status but that I couldn't track it until they send him the VIN. He said on last Friday that it was showing it was due to be built the Week of May 18th. I just thought that if he could see that then surely they have already issued a VIN # for it.

 

My truck order was placed on 4/30. I had the VIN on 5/10.
