3 new pirellis and that still didn't fix it. This is very disappointing.

Default update so far

After lodging a complaint to the head office of Ford Canada about the tech and service Manager telling me (its due to the drive shaft being out of balance. BUT. If I fix it. It will still be there as its a 2wheel drive and I carry approx 300lbs of tools in it every day. Its not meant to carry a lot of weight.)
The Ford dealer also told me they wont repair drive shafts only replace. ($1,300.00)
I recieved a complaint File #from Ford head office. They asked me to contact another dealer with the complaint #.
Second dealer I called told me he can easily balance the original drive shaft all labour charges total of $260.00cdn.
Going to pick the truck up tonight. HOPEFULLY. Everything is ok.

After I picked myself up off the floor from their reply.

I told them its a truck and just like all my other trucks I tend to carry things in the back. Bottom line I got no where with the dealer or head office of Ford Canada. Where to go from here ???

I took a little time to do some reading on this yesterday, and got a sea of information that came up. MY summary from reading yesterday was it is a known design issue that basically a the output from the physics and arrangement of the truck. Design, wheelbase, leaf springs, suspension, drive line, wheels & tires.

No silver bullets after hours of reading. Be careful with your expectations about new tires. I read several post where folks spent the $1300 for new tires, and did not make a difference. The 3 new tires I received, did help a LITTLE, but basically just pushed the same results 5 mph higher.

Steve...keep us informed. I'm still following this but pretty much resolved to thinking it's not fixable. I HOPE it resolves it for you.

Just got mine back for the fourth time. They replace another tire that they replaced on the second trip and it still vibrates at 75 to 80 mph. I'm so aggravated at this point that I'm requesting four new different brand tires. I'm still not convinced that is the tires.

Finally got mine to the dealer today. They did a road force balance and one of the rears was out, at 16 or something and others were at 18(don't have the sheet in front of me) but felt better on the way home and driving today.
