Default Vehicle report

Are there actually any free vin look up sites out there or not. Just bought a new to me 2013 and trying to see what kind of records are on it. Not really wanting to pay $40 for one carfax. Thanks for any info.

I think what you guys can do is go to your Ford dealer, give them the vin# maybe they will be nice and pull up a Carfax report on your rigs.
I too would like to see a free site.
There is http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleSelection.do
you can get your build sheet here.

This should get you the original window sticker.

I did find the original window sticker site. I'll check with the dealer. I did buy it from a ford dealer lot.

can you post the window sticker site? I don't think the researchmaniac site is operating well.

Sure thing. Go to www.decodethis.com and put in your VIN #. The next page will give you info you already know. In between where it tells you what kind of vehicle you have and the box of info you'll see ( View Ford Factory Window Sticker NEW! ) click it. It will show the sticker when it was new.

Just ran the decode this as well and it says the window sticker has not yet been released, LMAO I've been driving a ghost truck for 3 years!

Worthless link at best.

Post the vin# and I'll run it thru OASIS. (Fords database). It wont show me any work done under warranty but does give out build sheet data as well as build date, trim level, interior and exterior color codes, etc....
