Using 4WD does make it stop faster
THANK YOU! Somebody that gets it! Same holds true for a new F150, in 2wd the front will start locking up and activating ABS much sooner then when in 4high on the same surface. 50/50 braking power makes a big difference. My trucks spend half a year in 4 high, you have time to check out the difference during loooong cold winters.
Typical 70/30 braking dynamics are not helpful on ice, 50/50 gives you much better control and traction.
