Used 2008 f-150 Transmission Problem.
Bought a 4.6 V8, 74000 miles, automatic.
I bought this truck with an extended warranty, because after test driving the truck, I felt the truck was not shifting correctly. I drove this truck for a couple of days, when braking to slow down, I did not feel like it was down shifting. One day, I put the truck into 2nd gear, drove around the block slowly, I thought it should rev higher, it didn't. The next day, I was driving around, put the truck into reverse and the truck would not reverse! Gently I did back out, drove it home, on the way the OD Not On light came on. I had it towed to the dealership. Today they will look at it. Anyone ever had such a problem? Thanks in advance!
