Default Urgent help needed

I have a 2010 F150 FX4 with that dreaded Triton 5.4L 3 valve in it. I love the truck but the engine is frustrating me. I bought it 6 months ago and immediately swapped the cam positioning sensors out on bank 1 & 2. About a month ago it started making a knock on start up and getting doggy. Made an appointment knowing this was more than likely the timing chain, guides, and phaser issue. The day before it went in I got the dreaded crank but no fire. Towed it to the shop because I’m more of an intermediate at repairs not a master. Picked up the truck tonight. Left the shop and it fired right up no issues. On the way home I got a stutter at a red light and it died. No engine light it just died. Fired right up. Stopped for dinner and afterwards I fired it up and an awful rattle come from it and engine codes out the rear end. Crankshaft correlation code times 2, cam position sensors bank 1 and 2. Now it runs worse than it ever has. Ideas?

That’s actually what they did at the shop. Re-reading my post I can see I wasn’t very clear on what the shop did. Chalk that up to being frustrated at the time. They replaced the timing chain guides and cam phasers.

Why exactly did you swap the cam positioning sensors? How many miles on the truck? I mean, what is the likelihood that you are having this much trouble so soon after purchasing? Was it just a piece of crap or something?
