Upper Control Arm with Ball Joints
Hi everyone,
I have a question which i hope someone can help with me. I have a 2001 Ford F150 Harley Davidson Truck. I replaced the Upper & Lower Control Arm with Ball Joints about 6 months ago. I purchased them from Moog.
Last week my caliber seized up on drivers side so I put the truck on jack stands & took off the wheels to check everything out & in the process of replacing several things. When I started looking at the upper control arm with ball joints it seemed like the ball joints on both sides seem to have some play or loose. I don't see any tear around the fittings. My question is does anyone think the upper control arm w/ ball joints are bad or is it possible that the moog parts were defective? I can possibly provide a short video with me moving the ball joints if anyone responds & can help me. Thank you.

Urban lore has it that Moog is next to Dorman as far as quality anymore. If the balljoints seem loose, I'd buy some better ones, like OEM, if your truck is stock. If you have any sort of lift/level, maybe some aftermarket UCA's are appropriate?
