If you've wetsanded with 2500, you'll then need to gradually work through polishes, starting with an abrasive one and getting finer until the headlight lens is clear. To do the polishing by hand will take quite a bit of time and perseverance.

For the headlights buy the Megs headlight restore kit and use it.You will probably have to do it a few times to get the scratches out..I have gotten out some deep scratches from cutomers headlights with the Plastx..As far as the paint how bad is it??? For an otc product the megs cleaner wax does a good job even by hand..
