Hi. I have a 2013 F150 Lariat

A couple of questions:
1) Is there any way to run the fog lamps independently. I want to run them alone, no headlight and no driving lights. It is ridiculous the way they are set from factory. The whole idea behind running fog lights in fog is to have a lower light so you don't get the glare back. They NEVER get used for what they are intended. I see people driving around with them on or modified with BRIGHT HID. Why call them fog lamps?? Any ideas?

2) Is there any way to operate the back up cam independent of the reverse switch? It would be nice to be able to turn it on while driving and see whats going on behind? Or when parked, could utilize it for more than just backing up!

Any wizards out there?

 

Yes. You just need to buy a relay switch from Amazon or whoever and run the wiring to the battery. It will allow you to flip the switch to turn it on and off independently
