Default Trying to understand SYNC

Hi everyone,

I have lurked here from time to time, but this is my first post.

I just purchased a used 2015 Ford f150 xlt. and I am trying to figure out the sync navigation. This truck replaces my 2004 f150 that was totaled, on the 2004 I obviously didn't have touch screen or navigation or anything like that. On the 2015 that I just bought, it has a large touch screen display on Ford Sync . The problem is I don't know how to use/cant find the navigation? I have done a little reading and I am not even sure if my truck has navigation? It has a SD card slot, but no SD card? Do I have to have a SD card for the navigation to work? Can I purchase one to get navigation?

Any help would be appreciated !

Thanks

Thats what I would gather, and If I were you unless it got better in Sync 3, I would look at alternatives!

You definitely need an SD Card IF your MFT supports Nav. If you find that it does support Nav. and you need the SD Card shoot me a PM as I have the one that came with my 2015. I have upgraded to Sync3 and no longer need it.

If you don't have Nav I believe you can change that by visiting the FORScan thread.
