Truck beds

I have no use for a bed that small. The extra 1' of a 6.5' bed makes a huge difference.
A regular cab shortbed is another truck Id never want. I had one truck like that before and always wished it was a long bed or an extended cab.

IMO: the 6.5' bed on a Screw looks better with a toolbox, than the 5.5.
The 8' looks good, but like the 250s you need a 40 acre field to turn it around.
NOTE: Here in Redneck Country, most trucks sport a toolbox.
Covers are gaining in favor also, few trucks have a naked bed.

Call it a Baby Bed.
Really, it's a matter of personal need and preference.
I have a Super Cab and 6.5' bed.
Like the looks of this combination best - but there are many great looking Crew Cabs around.
At times I could certainly use the long bed tho.

My dad has a Chevy crew cab with 7.5 ft bed. That's a long truck. The crew cabs with 6.5 or 5.5 beds are more comfortable with the shorter wheel base. Also, if you are towing, a truck that's a foot or two shorter is an advantage.
