I have a 2013 f150 fx4 3.5 ecoboost, I went to the dealer regarding a problem with my trubo that was making weird noises when the rpm was high. They told me i need a new turbo on the passenger side because my wastegate is siezed. Can i just change my waste gate or do I really need a new turbo?

trubo, shorter way for saying 'true brother' or 'trubro', or in terms of the word 'Exactly'.

 

You can replace just the waste gate, but I'm not sure if Ford sells it as a stand alone piece. There are a few aftermarket companies selling waste gates that can be swapped onto your turbo. Ford is using Ford parts and it doesn't look like they sell it alone, and you'd have to buy the whole turbo.

I hate when my trubo is siezed. Worse than when my turbo is seized.

 

if the wastegate seized there's a good chance the turbo overspooled. K03's don't last long after being overboosted. If it's warranty, be glad they're replacing the turbo.

For reference, since you did it twice, it's turbo, not trubo.
