Default Transmission help

I have a 1994 f150xlt 5.8lt.....after driving home from work and parking it for like 20...jumped back in to go to town stopped at the stop sign an it falls on it's face....truck would barely move....I would get goin an went to pass a car an nothing happened....get to town an it dies at stop light.....thinking it was just getting got "temp outside was 111"....I went in store for about an hour.....drove home no issue....let truck set for a great hours took it for a drive no issue...got up the next morning drove to a friend's house stayed there for like six hours....get in truck an drive off ...an it shifts hard into 1st an 2nd....stop at stop sign....an it drives just fine all the way home.....let it set for a few hours again...an same thing shifts hard 1st an 2nd....just once an drives just find after that.......an No the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT has never came on

fluid level? could be plugged up filter, how old /fresh is the fluid? could be some valve inside trans is sticky.

Fluid level is good ....fluid looks good.....not sure how long since change....but drove truck to day an no issues

Just checked codes an only 3 popped up #10 ..128 ...111.... nothing about transmission or any symptoms I'm having
