Default transmission

will my 2000 model 4.6 transmission bolt up to a 5.4 engine and function properly . is their a cranksensor that would prevent this swap

When u do trany swap ford recommends an in line filter on da return line

Only if the engine it it bolted up to has a PCM controlling the same kind of transmission. I would recommend a 5.4 torque converter. See the notes in my sig for reason why.
