Tranny squeak
hey guys/gals, just joined like 2 mins ago and wanted to ask a question.
So, I just bought a 2018 f150 sport 5.0...I’ve had it about 3 weeks and I’ve noticed that every gear change it squeaks like a cricket. It’s def noticeable outside while driving so I was just wondering if anyone else has had this? I know it’s under warranty and to go have it looked at but still was just wondering if someone else experienced this?

Seems to be a common thing on the 10R80 transmission. I also have a 2018 5.0 with 3000 miles and the transmission makes some crazy high pitched whining sound when going through the drive through at slow speeds, and when switching gears while driving at neighborhood speeds with the windows down. My previous 16 with the 6R80 didn't have any noise, guess its just the new design. I also have an intermittent clunk/thud when starting the truck.
