Hey All,

I need help with trying to figure out a problem that Im having with my tranny. When going about 40mph and I lightly push the gas to go faster the truck jerks, but If I gun it there is no jerk of the truck. Any help would be useful...

 

I have an 05 screw fx4..I was having the same symtoms..I did the gotts mod and the hesitation/jerking at around 1200 rpms disappeared..I don't know if it was the mod that fixed it or the process of doing the mod ie.. taking the intake apart maybe dislodged an obstruction? Or the mod let's the 5.4 breath better fixing the hesitation between gears?..I'm not sure how or why but after the gotts mod was installed I haven't had the problem..knock on wood!
