Default Traded my F150

After a lot of consideration I decided to trade my 97 stepside in on a newer truck, when I bought my 97 I didnt realise how bad the previous owner had treated it, I tried to do the right thing and ended up sinking a lot of money into it, (almost $7000) but after replacing the engine the transmission started to go and I decided to cut my losses and trade it in, (I'd lost that loving feeling for it). I'm now the very proud owner of an 05 XLT crewcab 4x4, she's got the 5.4 with 63000 miles on it, and my only regret is that I didnt do this first. I've put almost 5000 miles on her and havent looked back.

Anyhow, figured I'd share this, I feel like a bit of a tool since my forum name is stepsiderob and I no longer have a stepside........oh well......but I know this is the place to show her off, hope y'all like her.

Oh yeah, any mods/upgrades you guys can suggest would be appreciated, I plan on putting some good money into her this spring.

Rob

Thanks for the congrats guys, still trying to figure out what I want to do but I think dual exhaust is first in order, along with a chip upgrade, after that I'm a bit stumped, maybe a lift, I like the stock look of the truck, like I said before.......any suggestions?

Well you have an eye on exhaust & chip/tuner, so unless you have an intake (CAI), then go that route. Also if you like the stock look, maybe a lift isn't best but just a 2" leveling kit. This should allow for some slightly larger rubber.
