Default Tow/Stretch ropes?

What type of tow ropes do you guys use? I dumped our loaded semi off in a ditch the other night(3am), well just the trailer, and our JD tractor(big) broke our 100,000lb stretch rope. Of course, the semi weighed nearly 90k lbs. Any ideas? I'd like a good stretch rope, as I think if you put a lot of tension on them, and then pull...it seems like they help the pulling process. Plus I think they are a lot safer, had it break again. I'd like one at least 100,000lbs or possibly even more

Let me know what ya got!

Brad

Yea I'd stay away from chains and cables, that's just asking for someone to get killed.

You're looking at some serious coin for a rope than can handle nearly 50 tons, around 5 bucks a foot if I'd have to guess.

Might check this place out. http://www.us-rope-cable.com/
