Default torque app MPG calculation

I have been running torque for a while on my 2001 ford f150 5.4L supercrew lariat 4x4 and am showing really off mpg. I got this app to check my mpg towing and at different speeds/ cap on and off ect and of course trans temp while towing. My hand calc for gas across the last 3 tanks is 14.4, this seems right as in summer i tracked it an was right about 15. Torque is trying to tell me 26mpg for the last 40 mi hwy trip I took with a 20mph crosswind. Do I need to adjust something or download a differet PID or something to get his more accuate? I am ok with 1-2 mpg off but 11mpg difference is not gonna help my little experament much.

I had to drop the trim to .63 to get it to make sense. This kinda concerns me. Anyone have any ideas whi it would be so far off or anyone else had this issue with the torqu ap and the 97-03 f150?

Torque is an Android app that works in conjunction with a Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the vehicle's diagnostic port. It provides access to most of the PIDs and also provides some derived data, such as fuel economy. It has some cool gauges built in - things like boost, voltage.

Look for Torque on the Android Market for a complete description.
