tool box and B bar?

Default tool box and B bar?

well i have a problem guys i just purchased a nice chrome B bar to mount off road lights for my truck but i would still like to have a tool box. if anyone knows if they make boxes that would fit around them or have both please help!

I think your pretty much limited to trying to run a in rail box or scooting it back like we do with headache racks (mainly just so the lid opens). I've seen guys do some custom work on their tool boxes to fit stacks through them and circular cuts in the lid to not contact the stacks, but never seen anyone try and run a bar with one. However, I do live in an area where you either run a headache rack to protect the cab or just bear cab. I know cabelas used to have a light mount that would go off the 3rd brake, but sounds like you want to use the bar.

i wonder if it would work to get a tool box from a smaller truck like a ranger and mount it under the bar? or do they make boxes that dont need to sit on the rails just mount in the bed

They do make one that sits in the bed and was what I referred to as an in rail box.

Tend to see them on flat beds but this may be as small as they make them. You could probably find a 44" somewhere, maybe UWS or somewhere.
