Default Tool box

I'm looking for a slim tool box for my 5.5' bed. I don't plan on packing it up full of crap, just little odds and ends that I don't want to keep under the rear seat in the crew cab
What are you guys using?

I bought a small Kobalt toolbox from Lowes. I'm pretty sure it's a restamped BetterBuilt for sale at Lowes.

For me it's been great. I can fit trailer hitches, jumper cables, tie downs, a tow hook, boots, icemelt, a retractable ice scraper, a mini snow shovel and like 12 other things I'm forgetting at the moment in it. Only thing I couldn't fit in it was a 172 piece cresent tool set(the portable suitcase kind) because it's not deep enough.

It's held in by the betterbuilt drill-less system. Only issue is I think someone could break into if they really wanted to, but I don't trust toolboxes for security unless it's a weathergaurd or at least $600+. For $100 on sale at Lowes I can't complain at all.

I'm not sure the exact dimensions but it's the full width of the truck bed and about a foot or so wide

Yah lol it was an accidental Black Friday purchase. I just went to Lowes on Black Friday for something I needed and they had a huge stack of them and I couldn't pass up the price.

I have a swing case on mine. Holds my straps, trailer hitch, cables, and basic hand tools. I don't really need it to carry much, but they hold more than you think, plus it locks, and is under my locked cover.

Op, isn't your truck a 6" bed?
