Today I....
New F-150 owner here. Mines an Oxford White 2014 XLT Ecoboost with 31K on the clock. I've had it 6 days.
I've been having fun doing a few things to the truck. Installed Drop Stops, and a Salex center console organizer. Replaced the OEM antenna with a 9" steel antenna. Swapped the tag lamps for 5-lumen LEDs. Bought Husky mats front back and hump. Husky wheel liners will go on over the weekend, and a black bullet bumper grill, too. Installed an OEM remote start and it's being programmed tomorrow along with two new keys. Upgraded to a K&N panel. Bought an X4 tuner and have been playing with 87-octane tunes. Drilled the CAC. A RX monster catch can will go in on Saturday.
This afternoon, I did this....can you guess which fog light has an LED in it?

I also did this......the first owner destroyed the grill finish by using the wrong chemical.

And here she is, waiting overnight at the dealer for her state inspections and remote start programming.

Upcoming additions are cell phone mounts, a full set of Jimmi Jammers, a tonneau cover and Line-X. Performance mods will come in due time. I'm so excited to own a newer truck. My last was a 2000 Explorer XLT 4.6L 4x4 that I modded all to heck and drove to 210K miles.
I often tow an enclosed TA work trailer which weighs in at 6,500# and 1,100# tongue weight. My Expy pulled it well thanks to my mods and my Reese WD/AS hitch. Never a problem with the motor, tranny, front diff or transfer case, but I crunched the OEM rear end at 150K miles and the remanufactured replacement carrier blew in February of this year. This time I swapped out with a 70K-mile used rear end, but that's all, folks. She's going on Craigslist before lightning strikes again.
I am soooo looking forward to towing my trailer with my new "Ecobeast."
Thanks for letting me share! Happy hauling!
