Default tires & control

i wanted some input from people on here if i go to a 275-70-16 tire will i loose traction/ control in the winter time... i have 265's on now.. just a thought

I had 285/75 16s Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Explorer. They were great in the snow. Made driving in the winter a lot of fun. Starting and stopping on ice was always under control. Cornering was fine too. I'm not known to take it easy either.
