Default Tires?

I have a 2014 F150 FX4 with Goodyear SRA's which don't last very long 33,000 miles on them. There's still fairly good tread on them the problem is at this point they become very bad for winter driving. I'm not impressed with them! So I need new tires this fall and what have you F150 owners had the best luck with?

Nitto Terra Grapplers
Look awesome, have lasted for 50k miles so far and ride smooth on the pavement with just enough grab to take me places.

Goodyear DuraTrac's, depending on the size, they are rated for severe mountain service (they have the mountain and snowflake on them).

Yep. I have a set of DuraTracs on my 07 Screw. They look new at 20K on them (I rotate every 5k), are quiet in the Summer, and absolutely rule in the Minnesota Winter. Fantastic tires.

And another vote for DuraTracs. Have them on my Ranger, and when the so/so KO2s are done on the 150, it'll be wearing them as well. These are the best winter tires I've ever had. I've been buying tires for just short of 50 years, and always go back to GY.

I'm on my second set of Firestone Destination ATs. The first set starting showing some sidewall cracking after 8 years but still had 5/32-6/32 inch tread after 65,000 miles. Truck is 2WD with posi and I get around in the occasional snow and unpaved roads.

I had Cooper Discoverer AT3 on my truck and liked them a lot, now I have BFG K02 and love em. Only reason I changed them was to go to a bigger size with a heavier load rating.

You did not mention if you want to stick with stock tires or oversize. The Yokohama Geolandar G015 is a great tire (quiet, snowflake rated, great wet and dry traction, cheap, great quality control). I tried a set in LT285/55R20E for 30 days and replaced them with BFG KO2 LT275/60R20D due to highway bed bounce. The replacement BFG KO2 were worse until I installed the Timbren SES suspension bump stops. I wish I had stayed with the Yokohama since the BFG ride like s%^&. The P rated Yoko is a 60,000 mile tire. The LT is 50,000 miles.
