Default Tiregate anyone?

Sorry it's been a long time that I posted anything but Just bought a set of BFG A/T 315/70R17 and the wheels will be here by tomorrow! The problem I have is the spare I did buy a fifth tire for the spare but it looks like it won't fit under the truck in stock location, plus I heard that the cable brakes due to over size tire. So I am looking for other options for the spare, I would like to be able to still put 2 full size dirt bikes in the bed. I found tiregate.com has a nice replacement for the tailgate with a mount for the over sized spare and it can be turned around to let you use the bed fully. Anyone have one or a better idea let me know thanks!

There pre-runner one is killer looking, I love the odea of the reversable set-up. Go for it and let us know how it works out.

save your money and use the old spare, just don't use 4x4 while its on the truck! Probably never need it anyway, no sense wasting 300$ on a tire you won't use, plus whatever that tailgate thing costs, lol!

I already bought the tires, I off road alot and take the truck places that if I get a flat I would need 4 wheel drive to get out (lots of soft deep sand, remote areas) so the full size spare is needed for me, trust me I thought of that first.

I thought it was a good idea also, so unless I find another option I will be ordering the tailgate in the next couple days. I have done a few things to the truck that I will post with pics as soon as I get the new wheels and tires on!

If you have a limited slip rear it's good to have the same height tires on the rear axle. Front can be different height if 4x4 is not engaged.
